About this gene: Aco1 belongs to the aconitase/IPM isomerase protein family. The Aco1 protein has been identified as a moonlighting protein based on its ability to perform mechanistically distinct functions. Depending on iron levels in the cytosol, the Aco1 protein can function as either an aconitase enzyme or as an mRNA binding protein.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
