SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Camk2a (calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Camk2a qPCR Primer Set – calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II alpha
Also known as: PK2CDD, PKCCD
About this gene: Camk2a enables GTPase activating protein binding activity and calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including neurotransmitter receptor transport to plasma membrane; protein phosphorylation; and regulation of protein localization to membrane. Is active in multiple cellular components, including postsynaptic cytosol; postsynaptic density; and presynaptic cytosol.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25400; UniProt: P11275; Chromosome location: 18q12.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
