SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Calm2 (calmodulin 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Calm2 qPCR Primer Set – calmodulin 2
Also known as: CaMII, Cam, Cam2, Camb
About this gene: Calm2 enables multiple functions, including nitric-oxide synthase binding activity; transmembrane transporter binding activity; and type 3 metabotropic glutamate receptor binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including positive regulation of nitric-oxide synthase activity; regulation of vesicle-mediated transport; and response to corticosterone. Is active in Schaffer collateral - CA1 synapse; postsynaptic cytosol; and presynaptic cytosol.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 50663; UniProt: P0DP29; Chromosome location: 6q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
