SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Bcl2 (BCL2, apoptosis regulator) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Bcl2 qPCR Primer Set – BCL2, apoptosis regulator
Also known as: Bcl-2
About this gene: Enables BH domain binding activity. Involved in several processes, including central nervous system development; regulation of apoptotic process; and response to monosaccharide. Located in mitochondrial crista and perinuclear region of cytoplasm. Used to study several diseases, including brain ischemia (multiple); end stage renal disease; gastric ulcer; intestinal disease (multiple); and status epilepticus. Biomarker of several diseases, including artery disease (multiple); brain disease (multiple); carcinoma (multiple); intrinsic cardiomyopathy (multiple); and neurodegenerative disease (multiple). Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including carcinoma (multiple); hematologic cancer (multiple); intracranial aneurysm; prostate cancer; and urinary bladder cancer. Orthologous to human BCL2 (BCL2 apoptosis regulator).
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24224; Chromosome location: 13p11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
