SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Stat3 (signal transducer and activator of transcription 3) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Stat3 qPCR Primer Set – signal transducer and activator of transcription 3
About this gene: Enables CCR5 chemokine receptor binding activity; nuclear glucocorticoid receptor binding activity; and sequence-specific DNA binding activity. Involved in several processes, including negative regulation of hydrogen peroxide biosynthetic process; positive regulation of ATP biosynthetic process; and positive regulation of canonical NF-kappaB signal transduction. Acts upstream of or within cellular response to cytokine stimulus. Located in cytosol; mitochondrial inner membrane; and nucleus. Is active in Schaffer collateral - CA1 synapse; glutamatergic synapse; and postsynaptic density. Used to study several diseases, including duodenal ulcer; hyperuricemia; metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease; obesity; and transient cerebral ischemia. Biomarker of atherosclerosis; colon cancer; colorectal carcinoma; heart disease; and pre-malignant neoplasm. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including Behcet's disease; arthritis (multiple); carcinoma (multiple); inflammatory bowel disease (multiple); and reproductive organ cancer (multiple). Orthologous to human STAT3 (signal transducer and activator of transcription 3).
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25125; Chromosome location: 10q31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
