SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Gapdh (glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Gapdh qPCR Primer Set – glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase
Also known as: BARS-38, Gapd
About this gene: Gapdh belongs to the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase protein family. A similar protein in human and mouse has been identified as a moonlighting protein based on its ability to perform mechanistically distinct functions. The Gapdh protein was originally identified as a key glycolytic enzyme that converts D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate into 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24383; UniProt: P04797; Chromosome location: 4q42
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
