SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Pggt1b (protein geranylgeranyltransferase type I subunit beta, also called GGTase-I-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Pggt1b qPCR Primer Set – protein geranylgeranyltransferase type I subunit beta
About this gene: Pggt1b enables heterocyclic compound binding activity. Contributes to CAAX-protein geranylgeranyltransferase activity; peptide binding activity; and zinc ion binding activity. It is involved in positive regulation of cell cycle; positive regulation of cell population proliferation; and protein geranylgeranylation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 81746; UniProt: P53610; Chromosome location: 18q11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
