SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Nrf1 (nuclear respiratory factor 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Nrf1 qPCR Primer Set – nuclear respiratory factor 1
Also known as: Nfe2l1_retired
About this gene: Nrf1 encodes a protein that homodimerizes and acts as a transcription factor which activates the expression of some key metabolic genes regulating cellular growth and nuclear genes required for respiration, heme biosynthesis, and mitochondrial DNA transcription and replication. Confusion has occurred in bibliographic databases for genes in the "nuclear respiratory factor" and "nuclear factor-like" families due to a shared symbol or alias of Nrf1.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 312195; Chromosome location: 4q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
