SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Lcat (lecithin cholesterol acyltransferase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Lcat qPCR Primer Set – lecithin cholesterol acyltransferase
About this gene: Lcat enables A2-type glycerophospholipase activity and phosphatidylcholine-sterol O-acyltransferase activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including cholesterol metabolic process; response to copper ion; and response to glucocorticoid. Predicted to be active in extracellular region.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24530; UniProt: P18424; Chromosome location: 19q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
