SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Krt5 (keratin 5, also called K5) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Krt5 qPCR Primer Set – keratin 5
Also known as: CK-5, K5, Krt2-5, Sak57
About this gene: Krt5 is predicted to enable scaffold protein binding activity. Predicted to be a structural constituent of skin epidermis. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including intermediate filament cytoskeleton organization; keratinization; and response to mechanical stimulus.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 369017; UniProt: Q6P6Q2; Chromosome location: 7q36
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
