SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Kcne5 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily E regulatory subunit 5) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Kcne5 qPCR Primer Set – potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily E regulatory subunit 5
Also known as: Kcne1l
About this gene: Kcne5 is predicted to enable potassium channel regulator activity and transmembrane transporter binding activity. Predicted to contribute to delayed rectifier potassium channel activity and voltage-gated potassium channel activity involved in ventricular cardiac muscle cell action potential repolarization. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including cardiac muscle cell action potential involved in contraction; regulation of cardiac muscle cell membrane repolarization; and regulation of potassium ion transmembrane transport.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 681190; Chromosome location: Xq33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
