SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Kcnc1 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily C member 1, also called NGK2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Kcnc1 qPCR Primer Set – potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily C member 1
Also known as: KShIIIB, Kv3.1, Kv4, NGK2-KV4
About this gene: Kcnc1 enables delayed rectifier potassium channel activity; transmembrane transporter binding activity; and voltage-gated monoatomic ion channel activity involved in regulation of presynaptic membrane potential. It is involved in multiple processes, including nervous system development; positive regulation of cation transmembrane transport; and response to auditory stimulus. Is active in calyx of Held; postsynaptic membrane; and presynaptic membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25327; UniProt: P25122; Chromosome location: 1q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
