SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Hspa5 (heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 5, also called BiP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Hspa5 qPCR Primer Set – heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 5
Also known as: BIP, GRP 78, GRP78
About this gene: Hspa5 enables misfolded protein binding activity and unfolded protein binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including cellular response to cAMP; cellular response to gamma radiation; and luteolysis. It acts upstream of or within response to endoplasmic reticulum stress.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25617; UniProt: P06761; Chromosome location: 3p11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
