About this gene: Hrh3 encodes a histamine H3 receptor that belongs to the superfamily of G-protein coupled receptors. The Hrh3 protein acts as a presynaptic autoreceptor on histamine neurons in the brain, and a presynaptic heteroreceptor in nonhistamine-containing neurons in both the central and peripheral nervous systems. The Hrh3 gene product is deemed a great target for the development of therapeutics for numerous disorders, including obesity, epilepsy, and such cognitive diseases as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and Alzheimer's disease.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
