SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Hmox1 (heme oxygenase 1, also called HO-1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Hmox1 qPCR Primer Set – heme oxygenase 1
Also known as: HEOXG, Heox, Hmox, Ho-1, Ho1, hsp32
About this gene: Hmox1 enables multiple functions, including D-type glycerophospholipase activity; heme binding activity; and oxidoreductase activity, acting on paired donors, with incorporation or reduction of molecular oxygen, reduced flavin or flavoprotein as one donor. It is involved in multiple processes, including intracellular signal transduction; negative regulation of apoptotic process; and negative regulation of immune effector process.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24451; UniProt: P06762; Chromosome location: 19p11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
