SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Hfe (homeostatic iron regulator, also called RT1-CAFE) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Hfe qPCR Primer Set – homeostatic iron regulator
About this gene: Hfe is predicted to enable multiple functions, including beta-2-microglobulin binding activity; co-receptor binding activity; and transferrin receptor binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including cellular response to iron ion starvation; liver regeneration; and multicellular organismal-level iron ion homeostasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29199; UniProt: O35799; Chromosome location: 17p11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
