SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Gtf2b (general transcription factor IIB) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Gtf2b qPCR Primer Set – general transcription factor IIB
About this gene: Gtf2b is predicted to enable multiple functions, including RNA polymerase II core promoter sequence-specific DNA binding activity; RNA polymerase II general transcription initiation factor activity; and TBP-class protein binding activity. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including RNA polymerase II core complex assembly; meiotic sister chromatid cohesion; and transcription initiation at RNA polymerase II promoter. Predicted to be active in cell division site; germinal vesicle; and kinetochore.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 81673; UniProt: P62916; Chromosome location: 2q44
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
