SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Grn (granulin precursor, also called PGRN) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Grn qPCR Primer Set – granulin precursor
Also known as: PEPI, PGRN
About this gene: Grn is predicted to enable protein-folding chaperone binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including chondrocyte proliferation; positive regulation of dendritic spine development; and response to estradiol. Is active in glutamatergic synapse.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29143; UniProt: P23785; Chromosome location: 10q32.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
