SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Grm8 (glutamate metabotropic receptor 8, also called mGluR8) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Grm8 qPCR Primer Set – glutamate metabotropic receptor 8
Also known as: Glur8, Gprc1h, Mglur8, mGluR8b, mGlur
About this gene: Grm8 enables group III metabotropic glutamate receptor activity. It is involved in detection of mechanical stimulus involved in sensory perception of pain; glutamatergic synaptic transmission; and modulation of chemical synaptic transmission. Is active in GABA-ergic synapse; glutamatergic synapse; and presynaptic active zone membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 60590; UniProt: P70579; Chromosome location: 4q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
