SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Grin2b (glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA type subunit 2B, also called GluN2B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Grin2b qPCR Primer Set – glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA type subunit 2B
Also known as: GluN2B
About this gene: Grin2b enables multiple functions, including beta-catenin binding activity; extracellular ligand-gated monoatomic ion channel activity; and signaling receptor binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including cellular response to ketone; learning or memory; and modulation of chemical synaptic transmission. Is active in multiple cellular components, including hippocampal mossy fiber to CA3 synapse; parallel fiber to Purkinje cell synapse; and synaptic membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24410; UniProt: Q00960; Chromosome location: 4q43
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
