Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Grin2a (glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA type subunit 2A, also called NR2A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Rat Grin2a qPCR Primer Set – glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA type subunit 2A

Also known as: GluN2A, NMDAR2A, NR2A

About this gene: Grin2a enables multiple functions, including enzyme binding activity; glutamate binding activity; and monoatomic ion channel activity. Contributes to extracellularly glutamate-gated ion channel activity and monoatomic cation channel activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including modulation of chemical synaptic transmission; nervous system development; and regulation of signal transduction.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24409; UniProt: Q00959; Chromosome location: 10q11

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
