Rat Gria2 qPCR Primer Set – glutamate ionotropic receptor AMPA type subunit 2

Also known as: GluA2, GluR-K2, GluR2, gluR-B

About this gene: Glutamate receptors are the predominant excitatory neurotransmitter receptors in the mammalian brain and are activated in a variety of normal neurophysiologic processes. Gria2 product belongs to a family of glutamate receptors that are sensitive to alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole propionate, and function as ligand-activated cation channels. These channels are assembled from 4 related subunits, Gria1-4.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29627; UniProt: P19491; Chromosome location: 2q33

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
