SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Glul (glutamate-ammonia ligase, also called GS) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Glul qPCR Primer Set – glutamate-ammonia ligase
Also known as: Glns
About this gene: Glul enables multiple functions, including dynein light chain binding activity; glutamine synthetase activity; and nickel cation binding activity. It is involved in positive regulation of epithelial cell proliferation; positive regulation of glutamatergic synaptic transmission; and positive regulation of insulin secretion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24957; UniProt: P09606; Chromosome location: 13q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
