SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Gipr (gastric inhibitory polypeptide receptor, also called GIP-R) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Gipr qPCR Primer Set – gastric inhibitory polypeptide receptor
Also known as: Gippr, RATGIPPR
About this gene: Gipr enables gastric inhibitory peptide receptor activity and peptide hormone binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including desensitization of G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway; gastric inhibitory peptide signaling pathway; and positive regulation of insulin secretion. Predicted to be active in plasma membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25024; UniProt: P43219; Chromosome location: 1q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
