SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Akt2 (AKT serine/threonine kinase 2, also called RAC-PK-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Akt2 qPCR Primer Set – AKT serine/threonine kinase 2
About this gene: Akt2 enables ATP binding activity; protein kinase C binding activity; and protein serine/threonine kinase activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B signal transduction; positive regulation of D-glucose import across plasma membrane; and regulation of gene expression. It acts upstream of or within cellular response to insulin stimulus and positive regulation of sodium ion transport.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25233; UniProt: P47197; Chromosome location: 1q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
