SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Gck (glucokinase, also called HK4) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Gck qPCR Primer Set – glucokinase
Also known as: GLK, GLUKA, RNGK2
About this gene: Gck enables multiple functions, including D-glucose binding activity; adenyl ribonucleotide binding activity; and hexokinase activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including hexose metabolic process; positive regulation of phosphate metabolic process; and regulation of secretion by cell.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24385; UniProt: P17712; Chromosome location: 14q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
