SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Gamt (guanidinoacetate N-methyltransferase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Gamt qPCR Primer Set – guanidinoacetate N-methyltransferase
Also known as: GMT
About this gene: Gamt enables guanidinoacetate N-methyltransferase activity and identical protein binding activity. It is involved in S-adenosylmethionine catabolic process; creatine biosynthetic process; and embryonic liver development. Predicted to be active in cytoplasm and nucleus.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25257; Chromosome location: 7q11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
