SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Akr1a1 (aldo-keto reductase family 1 member A1, also called ScorR) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Akr1a1 qPCR Primer Set – aldo-keto reductase family 1 member A1
Also known as: Akr1a4
About this gene: Akr1a1 enables L-glucuronate reductase activity and glucuronolactone reductase activity. It is involved in cellular detoxification of aldehyde; negative regulation of apoptotic process; and oxoacid metabolic process. Predicted to be active in cytosol and synapse.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 78959; UniProt: P51635; Chromosome location: 5q35
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
