SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Gad1 (glutamate decarboxylase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Gad1 qPCR Primer Set – glutamate decarboxylase 1
Also known as: Gad67
About this gene: Gad1 enables glutamate binding activity; glutamate decarboxylase activity; and pyridoxal phosphate binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including GABA biosynthetic process; cellular response to serotonin; and positive regulation of locomotion involved in locomotory behavior.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24379; UniProt: P18088; Chromosome location: 3q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
