SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Fdps (farnesyl diphosphate synthase, also called FPS) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Fdps qPCR Primer Set – farnesyl diphosphate synthase
Also known as: Ac2-125, FPS
About this gene: Enables-farnesyl diphosphate synthase activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including farnesyl diphosphate biosynthetic process; positive regulation of cell growth involved in cardiac muscle cell development; and positive regulation of cholesterol biosynthetic process.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 83791; UniProt: P05369; Chromosome location: 2q34
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
