Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Cyp1a2 (cytochrome P450, family 1, subfamily a, polypeptide 2, also called CYPIA2) gene expression by real-time PCR.

Rat Cyp1a2 qPCR Primer Set – cytochrome P450, family 1, subfamily a, polypeptide 2

Also known as: CYPD45, P-450d, RATCYPD45

About this gene: Cyp1a2 enables nitrite reductase activity and oxidoreductase activity, acting on paired donors, with incorporation or reduction of molecular oxygen, reduced flavin or flavoprotein as one donor, and incorporation of one atom of oxygen. It is involved in multiple processes, including cellular response to copper ion; nitroglycerin metabolic process; and response to tetrachloromethane. Predicted to be active in mitochondrion.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24297; UniProt: P04799; Chromosome location: 8q24

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
