SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Clock (clock circadian regulator, also called rCLOCK) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Rat Clock qPCR Primer Set – clock circadian regulator
About this gene: The Clock protein plays a central role in the regulation of circadian rhythms. The protein encodes a transcription factor of the basic helix-loop-helix family and contains DNA binding histone acetyltransferase activity. The Clock protein forms a heterodimer with Arntl that binds E-box enhancer elements upstream of Period and Cryptochrome genes and activates transcription of these genes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 60447; UniProt: Q9WVS9; Chromosome location: 14p11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
