SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Chrna5 (cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 5 subunit) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Chrna5 qPCR Primer Set – cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 5 subunit
About this gene: Chrna5 enables acetylcholine binding activity and acetylcholine-gated monoatomic cation-selective channel activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including behavioral response to nicotine; cellular response to nicotine; and detection of mechanical stimulus involved in sensory perception of pain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25102; Chromosome location: 8q24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
