Mouse Acta2 qPCR Primer Set – actin alpha 2, smooth muscle, aorta
Also known as: 0610041G09Rik, Actvs, SMAalpha, SMalphaA, a-SMA, alphaSMA
About this gene: The Acta2 protein belongs to the actin family of proteins, which are highly conserved proteins that play a role in cell motility, structure and integrity. Alpha, beta and gamma actin isoforms have been identified, with alpha actins being a major constituent of the contractile apparatus, while beta and gamma actins are involved in the regulation of cell motility. This actin is an alpha actin that is found in smooth muscle.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11475; UniProt: P62737; Chromosome location: 19 C1|19 29.41 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
