SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Ldha (lactate dehydrogenase A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Ldha qPCR Primer Set – lactate dehydrogenase A
Also known as: Ldh1, Ldhm, l7R2
About this gene: The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the conversion of L-lactate and NAD to pyruvate and NADH in the final step of anaerobic glycolysis. The protein is found predominantly in muscle tissue and belongs to the lactate dehydrogenase family. Mutations in this gene have been linked to hemolytic anemia and early postimplantation death in mice. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. The mouse genome contains multiple pseudogenes of this gene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 16828; Chromosome location: 7 30.6 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
