SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Acads (acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase, short chain, also called SCAD) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Acads qPCR Primer Set – acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase, short chain
Also known as: Bcd-1, Bcd1, Hdlq8, SCAD
About this gene: Acads encodes a homotetrameric mitochondrial flavoprotein and belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family. Members of this family catalyze the first step of fatty acid beta-oxidation, forming a C2-C3 trans-double bond in a FAD-dependent reaction. As beta-oxidation cycles through its four steps, each member of the Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family works at an optimum fatty acid chain-length.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
