SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Suv39h1 (suppressor of variegation 3-9 1, also called var) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Suv39h1 qPCR Primer Set – suppressor of variegation 3-9 1
Also known as: DXHXS7466e, H3-K9-HMTase 1, KMT1A, mIS6
About this gene: Suv39h1 enables RNA polymerase II transcription regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity and histone H3K9me2 methyltransferase activity. It is involved in circadian rhythm; negative regulation of DNA-templated transcription; and negative regulation of gene expression, epigenetic. It acts upstream of or within multiple processes, including blastocyst hatching; determination of adult lifespan; and regulation of bone mineralization.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 20937; UniProt: O54864; Chromosome location: X A1.1|X 3.64 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
