SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Bcat2 (branched chain aminotransferase 2, mitochondrial) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Bcat2 qPCR Primer Set – branched chain aminotransferase 2, mitochondrial
Also known as: Bcat(m), Bcat-2, Eca40
About this gene: Bcat2 enables branched-chain-amino-acid:2-oxoglutarate transaminase activity. It is involved in energy homeostasis. Acts upstream of with a negative effect on brown fat cell differentiation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 12036; UniProt: O35855; Chromosome location: 7 B3|7 29.36 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
