About this gene: Six6 encodes a homeobox protein that is similar to the Drosophila 'sine oculis' gene product. Six6 is found in a cluster of related genes on chromosome 12 and is believed to be involved in eye development. The encoded transcription factor regulates early progenitor cell proliferation during mammalian retinogenesis and pituitary development.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
