About this gene: The oncogene Bcl2 encodes a membrane protein that blocks a step in a pathway leading to apoptosis or programmed cell death. The Bag1 protein binds to Bcl2 protein and is referred to as Bcl2-associated athanogene. The Bag1 gene product enhances the anti-apoptotic effects of Bcl2 and represents a link between growth factor receptors and anti-apoptotic mechanisms.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
