SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Plat (plasminogen activator, tissue, also called tPA) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Plat qPCR Primer Set – plasminogen activator, tissue
Also known as: D8Ertd2e, tPA
About this gene: Plat encodes a key enzyme of the fibrinolytic pathway. The Plat protein undergoes proteolytic processing by plasmin to generate a heterodimeric serine protease that cleaves the proenzyme plasminogen to produce plasmin, a protease that is required to break down fibrin clots. Additionally, the Plat protein is involved in other biological processes such as synaptic plasticity, cell migration and tissue remodeling.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 18791; UniProt: P11214; Chromosome location: 8 A2|8 11.42 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
