SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Per3 (period circadian clock 3, also called mPER3) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Per3 qPCR Primer Set – period circadian clock 3
Also known as: 2810049O06Rik, mPer3
About this gene: Per3 belongs to the Period family of genes and is expressed in a circadian pattern in the suprachiasmatic nucleus, the primary circadian pacemaker in the mammalian brain. Genes in this family encode components of the circadian rhythms of locomotor activity, metabolism, and behavior. Per3 is upregulated by Clock/Arntl heterodimers but then represses this upregulation in a feedback loop using Per/Cry heterodimers to interact with Clock/Arntl.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 18628; UniProt: O70361; Chromosome location: 4 E2|4 81.53 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
