SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Oprl1 (opioid receptor-like 1, also called ORGC) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Oprl1 qPCR Primer Set – opioid receptor-like 1
Also known as: KOR-3, KOR3, LC132, MOR-C, NOP, ORGC, ORL1, Oprl, XOR1, morc
About this gene: The Oprl1 protein belongs to the 7 transmembrane-spanning G protein-coupled receptor family, and acts as a receptor for the endogenous, opioid-related neuropeptide, nociceptin/orphanin FQ. This receptor-ligand system modulates a variety of biological functions and neurobehavior. A recent study provided evidence for translational readthrough in Oprl1, and expression of an additional C-terminally extended isoform via the use of an alternative in-frame translation termination codon.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 18389; UniProt: P35377; Chromosome location: 2 H4|2 103.74 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
