SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Apoc1 (apolipoprotein C-I, also called Apo-CI) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Apoc1 qPCR Primer Set – apolipoprotein C-I
Also known as: Apo-CIB, ApoC-IB, apo-CI, apoC-I
About this gene: Apoc1 encodes a precursor plasma protein that is cleaved to yield a signal peptide and two alternatively processed mature peptides. The encoded protein, which is a component of chylomicrons, very low density lipoproteins and high density lipoproteins, transports lipids from the intestines to other locations in the body. The Apoc1 protein binds to free fatty acids preventing their uptake by cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11812; UniProt: P34928; Chromosome location: 7 A3|7 9.94 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
