SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Krt8 (keratin 8, also called K8) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Krt8 qPCR Primer Set – keratin 8
Also known as: Card2, EndoA, K8, Krt-2.8, Krt2-8, TROMA-1
About this gene: Krt8 is predicted to enable scaffold protein binding activity. It is involved in epithelium development and negative regulation of hepatocyte apoptotic process. It acts upstream of or within multiple processes, including cell differentiation involved in embryonic placenta development; cell surface receptor signaling pathway; and hepatocyte apoptotic process.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 16691; UniProt: P11679; Chromosome location: 15 F2|15 57.2 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
