About this gene: Klk14 belongs to the kallikrein subfamily of serine proteases that have diverse physiological functions such as regulation of blood pressure and desquamation. The Klk14 protein is a precursor that undergoes proteolytic cleavage of the activation peptide to generate the functional enzyme. The encoded enzyme was found to activate the complement pathway by cleavage of C3 to release C3a anaphylotoxin.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
