SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Kcnk2 (potassium channel, subfamily K, member 2, also called K2P2.1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Kcnk2 qPCR Primer Set – potassium channel, subfamily K, member 2
Also known as: A430027H14Rik, K2P2.1, TREK-1
About this gene: Kcnk2 enables channel activity; identical protein binding activity; and protein heterodimerization activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including glutamate secretion; neuronal action potential; and regulation of GABAergic synaptic transmission. It acts upstream of or within G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway; potassium ion transport; and regulation of membrane potential.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 16526; UniProt: P97438; Chromosome location: 1 H6|1 94.22 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
