About this gene: Itga7 belongs to the integrin family of cell surface proteins that mediate cellular interactions with the extracellular matrix and other cells. The encoded transmembrane protein is the alpha subunit that forms a noncovalent heterodimer with the beta subunit to form the functional integrin receptor that binds to laminin. Mice lacking the Itga7 protein exhibit symptoms of progressive muscular dystrophy, impaired axonal regeneration and cerebral vascular defects.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
