SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Igf1 (insulin-like growth factor 1, also called IGF-I) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Igf1 qPCR Primer Set – insulin-like growth factor 1
Also known as: C730016P09Rik, Igf-1, Igf-I
About this gene: Igf1 belongs to the insulin-like growth factor family of proteins that promote growth and development during fetal and postnatal life. Igf1 is predominantly expressed in the liver and the Igf1 protein undergoes proteolytic processing to generate a disulfide-linked mature polypeptide. Transgenic disruption of Igf1 in mice leads to reduced postnatal survival and severe growth retardation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 16000; UniProt: P05017; Chromosome location: 10 C1|10 43.7 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
