SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Hprt1 (hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase 1, also called HGPRT) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Mouse Hprt1 qPCR Primer Set – hypoxanthine phosphoribosyltransferase 1
Also known as: HPGRT, Hprt
About this gene: The Hprt1 protein is a transferase, which catalyzes conversion of hypoxanthine to inosine monophosphate and guanine to guanosine monophosphate via transfer of the 5-phosphoribosyl group from 5-phosphoribosyl 1-pyrophosphate. This enzyme plays a central role in the generation of purine nucleotides through the purine salvage pathway.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 15452; UniProt: P00493; Chromosome location: X A5|X 29.31 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
